One of the coolest places in Southern California is LEGOLAND. The creativity is unbelievable and there is so much to do in the park. It is also a great place for families with kids of all ages. Here are 11 awesome activities to do at LEGOLAND:
LEGO NINJAGO World
NINJAGO is one of the newest areas in LEGOLAND California and has so much to offer including LEGO NINJAGO The Ride (which features technology unique to the theme park,) as well as LEGO building stations, different games that see how well you would do at being a ninja, the NINJA Kitchen, and more!
LEGOLAND Hotel
If you really want a full LEGO experience, staying at the LEGOLAND Hotel is a must. With themed rooms, excellent breakfasts and a disco ball in the elevator, staying at the LEGOLAND Hotel will really heighten your trip. Like puzzles? There is even a scavenger hunt that you can do in your hotel room that unlocks a safe with a fun surprise!
Sea Life Aquarium
The Sea Life Aquarium is a fun, interactive, and educational opportunity. You are able to experience hands-on learning while seeing many different types of sea creatures (think jellyfish, sharks, octopi, and more).
Granny’s Apple Fries
If you eat nothing else at LEGOLAND California, you must try Granny’s Apple Fries. They cook up Granny Smith apples and dust them with cinnamon sugar. Sweeten the experience by dipping them into the provided vanilla cream sauce. This fry favorite is a delicious sensation you won’t want to miss!
LEGOLAND Waterpark
The LEGOLAND Water Park is a great spring and summer activity when visiting LEGOLAND. With a LEGO-themed tower, slides, and rides, you will be sure to have a great time! If the Waterpark is an attraction you want to hit, make sure to check the schedule to see if it will be open during your visit since it’s only open during the warmer months.
Miniland USA
This area is another cool spot to visit when in LEGOLAND. Iconic cities like San Francisco, Washington D.C., New Orleans, New York City and others that you already know and love are recreated and built entirely out of over 32 MILLION LEGOs! Be sure to check it out when you’re at the park.
LEGO Friends Heartlake City
With shopping, Heartlake Stables, LEGO Friends Meet & Greet, rides and more, Heartlake City is a fun stop to make during your LEGOLAND adventure. Be sure to take a ride on the Carousel!
Imagination Zone
If you want to get your creativity flowing, Imagination Zone is the perfect place to do just that! With different rides, building stations and character meet & greets, Imagination Zone is the place to be. Don’t miss out on THE LEGO MOVIE 4D A New Adventure while there so you can join Emmet, Wyldstyle, Unikitty, Benny and MetalBeard on their latest journey. After all, it’s one of the best movies EVER!
LEGO Star Wars
LEGO Star Wars gives you the chance to see iconic film scenes from the Star Wars movies built entirely out of LEGOs. Not only will you experience all the different scenes, but there are also tons of different characters you can see, touch and take pictures with. You might not even be able to tell the difference between the real Death Star and the LEGO one.
Model Shop
Containing more than 3 million LEGOs, the Model Shop is HQ for repairing and maintaining the different LEGO displays in the park. This is also the place where new displays are created. There are over 27,000 different displays in the park and more are constantly being created. If you’re lucky, you might even get to see the master builders creating something new!
Shopping
The shopping in LEGOLAND California is everything you could ever dream of and more. With over 10 different shops, you can get all the LEGOs you could possibly want. With various styles of LEGO sets, separate LEGO pieces and tons of clothing options you will certainly satisfy any of your LEGO wants or needs.
