With the closing of the Tower of Terror and its transformation into Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: BREAKOUT!, there are a lot of new experiences coming to the park this summer. With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 coming out just weeks before, the Summer of Heroes is debuting in Disney California Adventure on May 27th. Not only does this include the new ride, but tons of other experiences as well.
What Will Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: BREAKOUT! Be Like?
First and foremost, Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: BREAKOUT! will be a whole new experience from the Tower of Terror. Although it is the same base ride, each time you go will be a unique experience. You will be helping Rocket Raccoon help the other Guardians escape The Collector’s fortress with some pretty killer tunes going on at the same time.
