Did you know that Craftsy has an independent online pattern store that lets anyone upload and sell printables like costume patterns? This is the perfect place to help others get into cosplay and make a little money on the side.
If you are interested in putting your work on Craftsy:
1. Thou Dost Needeth a Paypal Account. You want to get paid, don’t you? This is how the magic happens.
2. Put your pattern in .pdf format. You can’t upload any patterns to the online pattern store unless they’re a .pdf file format, so you must change it to a .pdf before you upload it to Craftsy.
3. Include a photo. This seems like a given….you need to wow people and show them what they are buying. You have to add at least one photo to accompany them, but you can put up to five photos.
4. Fill out the pattern description. Don’t let your pattern get lost…include a clear description so people can find your costume patterns easily.
